Our 1st House!!

I thought I'd post some pictures of our house! We've done some cosmetic work on the inside...the people who lived here before really liked blue. The living room and Kaia's room were bright blue and the playroom was yellow. The office had awful wallpaper. So we did some work when we first moved in and are super happy with it!! I would post "before" pictures, but most of them were taken before we moved in and I didn't want to post pictures of their belongings. I've posted lots of pictures lately, so choose "older posts" to see what we've been up to lately!!

Big Girl Bike!!

Kaia got a big girl princess bike for her birthday and she is doing an AWESOME job of riding it all by herself!! We are so proud!! It has a little seat for her baby...and her baby goes with her everywhere!

Visit to Davenport!!

We made a quick trip to Davenport over Labor Day weekend. We got to see my cousin Gavin and his family, which we loved. They were in the process of moving back from Alaska and we enjoyed getting to spend time with them!! We also got to see some of the Liskes', Russo's and Grandma Dorothy, so that was a lot of fun too!! Always so much fun packed into just a little time!!

Golfing!

I'm posting lots of pictures while I have time, so scroll down and check out what we've been up to!! A couple weeks ago our church had a golf outing. Josh had already signed up, but they invited Kaia and I to come along too! It was my first time ever golfing, and obviously Kaia's too. We had a blast and the couple we were paired with even had a special putter they let Kaia use. I know Papa is proud!!

1st Haircut!

Kaia got her 1st haircut!! She desperately needed it...the underside of her hair is extremely curly, so it only goes to the top of her shoulders. The top is really straight and had gotten really long. So I took her to get her hair cut! She did great...she sat on my lap and did such a good job sitting still and holding her head still. Her favorite part was getting it curled at the end...she's already asked me to curl it for her at home!! She got a little certificate and we saved a lock of her hair. Passed another milestone...she's getting so big that it's hard to believe sometimes that she is already three (and sometimes that she is only 3).

Happy Birthday Grandma Vi!

Grandma Vi's birthday falls during our celebration week...so we got to celebrate her 88th birthday with her!! Doesn't she look great?!! We had a picnic at the park and had a wonderful time getting to be with her on her special day.

Vacation!!!

For our celebration week we went on vacation! We made the 8 hour trip to Wichita to visit Josh's sister and her family. On the way down we stayed overnight with some good friends in Topeka and had a great time!! After Wichita we stayed in Kansas City and then went to Bloomfield for a few days to celebrate Kaia's belated birthday, my birthday, and our anniversary!! It was a great week and we had a lot of fun!!

3rd Birthday!!

For Kaia's 3rd birthday we went to Wichita to see her cousins!! We all had a lot of fun and Kaia had a blast! We went to the zoo and then had pizza and cake and ice cream! Addy made awesome decorations for the party and the girls picked out Kaia's birthday cake. We had a great vacation with them and Kaia loved getting to see her "friends!"
