October Fun!

I had some time and haven't had a chance to upload pictures for quite a while, so I went a little crazy!! I 've uploaded all the fun things we were up to in October (like putting on crazy fake nails). There are lots of posts, so scroll down and enjoy!!

The beginning of October was really warm, so we were ableto get out the water table and swimsuit and have a little fun!

The Grotto

We took Kaia to see the Grotto in West Bend. She calls it the "Diamond Castle." It's an amazing place, constructed from all different rocks, stones, and shells that Father Dobberstein (a catholic priest in West Bend) started creating in 1912. It has many different sections, each devoted to telling a different part of Jesus' life. It really is an amazing place and we loved exploring it!

Okoboji

Early in October we headed up to Okoboji. The weather was still gorgeous and we had a great time eating lunch at a restaurant on the lake and exploring. Josh's family used to go every summer, so we got to check out the place where they used to stay. It was closed up for the season, but it was still neat to show Kaia!
